No line space after issuing ping command on Vista SP1

Has something changed with Vista SP1?

Now when I enter a ping command there is no line space after the "Pinging
192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:" text.

e.g.

---
C:\>ping 192.168.1.1

Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=18ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=17ms TTL=255

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 17ms, Maximum = 19ms, Average = 18ms

C:\>
---

I recently installed SP1 onto my Vista machine as well as a few other
updates and I'm sure that this behaviour has only started since then.

Previously it would have had a line break/space before the series of 4 pings
as shown below:

---
C:\>ping 192.168.1.1

Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=18ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=17ms TTL=255

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 17ms, Maximum = 19ms, Average = 18ms

C:\>
---

Anyone know how to get the line space back as this is very cluttered looking
without the space? Spaces don't cost much, so please give it back to me...J

Is this standard SP1 behaviour, or has something just got corrupted with my
TCP/IP stack that will likely be fixed by reinstalling it?

Thanks,

Conor.
