Towards the end of the time I had XP I found software to spruce it up
with new themes, having hated the bubbly pastel look. Has anyone done
anything like this for Vista? Perversely at the moment I have it set
up with the Windows Classic look, which 'hurts my eyes' less, but
having blown the doors off lately with a few months' Linux use I
wonder if any other hacks and so on can be done. For example, a Mac-
like grey 'airbrush' effect bottom panel (I don't mean the dock) and
different menu-type, transitions.

So after blowing off the doors with Linux, why are you worrying about Vista?
Do you want to make Vista look like the INFERIOR Linux product you were
using?

If you want to hack your OS and just play around, stick with Linux because
you can't do any productive work with Linux anyway.
