The user folders retain the original names regardless of what the display name of the account is changed to. This is also the case in XP. If this bothers you, change your account name, then create a new user account with the name "Howard". Log into that account - the folders are not created until you log into the account. Then, you can migrate files and settings to the new account. The procedure here will help give you an idea. Though it's for XP, it should be find with Vista.
