Start Menu

I have just installed Vista Business 64 bit. I am noticing something that I
had not had with Vista Home Premium. Some of the program listings when I
click START/ALL PROGRAMS are highlighted in Yellow. I don't notice any
significant pattern to this, but some are highlighted...some are not. It's
driving me crazy. Can anyone please assist with what this means, and how I
get rid of it ?

Thanks.

I think it's recently installed programs.
On Windows 7 it's:
Right-click Start orb > Properties > Start menu > Customize > clear the 'Highlight newly installed programs'.

Re: Start Menu

For the past 3 versions of Windows, newly Installed programs are highlighted
so that the neophyte computer user can easily find that which he just
installed.
