What specific reasons prevent software from working in Vista?
I was just told that this program does not work in Vista.
It wasn't from a source I know, just an email, and I don't
use Shareware very much as a marketing vehicle, but would
still like to get an objective view.

We don't focus on shareware so this version has not been
heavily tested.

No-one here is going to download an exe file from a link in a newsgroup!
If you go to their website all it says is "paramind for Windows" - it gives
no version, nor can I find (quickly) what versions of Windows it works on.
As I see your email address contains this word, at Gmail (?) are you a
SPAMMER?

there are a number of reasons. You should ask the authors as to why they
used incompatible approaches.

However, what you are attempting to do is completely different from the
topic of your post.

You are trying to get people to download software, perhaps in a misguided
attempt to sell it, perhaps to spread malware.

This is really not a good or safe idea, and I would not suggest that anyone
follow your suggestions.

If you are legitimately trying to promote software, you should find an
ethical method of doing so.
