Flashplayer

Adobe Flashplayer will not install on my Windows 7 RC1 system. Starts
and hangs. No Windows 7 version, Vista version fails in Vista
compatibility mode.

Do you have Win7 64 or 32? I have both Flash Players (for IE and for
Firefox) installed on Win7 RC1 32-bit with no problem. I used the current
Flash Player full installs, available on Adobe's deployment website.

Re: Flashplayer

Did you see any previously installed Flashplayer in Control Panel and
Programs? If so, uninstall it and clear your temp folder. Then go to adobe
web site again and install it from the web page. If that does not work,
maybe you can try some other version such as version 9 of flashplayer. It
should be downloadable from some web site.

Then do as Donald suggested. IIRC there's also a Flash Player removal tool
on Adobe's website. You might want to run that also.

I've had both versions of Flash Player running on Win7 since the earliest
beta with no issues. However, each PC is different and your system may have
things installed and/or be set up so that there is a problem with Flash.

Was unable to uninstall. Kept saying it's not finished. Installed the
firefox version and that went ok. Now I see the IE one is working though
the install for that still never completes and the uninstall is still
broken.
