Video under Vista at 56k

I am trying to watch a video on-line under Vista.(32 bit)

I only have a 56k line so the video is very slow.

Can I configure Flash to run at 56k?

Any advice greatfully received.

Thanks

Ps. I can't find Flash on my system. Any idea where it is installed?

There's nothing to configure and there's nothing you can do, you can't get
quality streaming on a 56k connection.

Re: Video under Vista at 56k

David's right, you can't get quality streaming video with 56k connection.

But to answer the second part.... To find your flash installation, in
Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Manage add ons.

What you could do is to *download* the video, rather than watching it
online, and then watch it locally. Some sites like Google video often have
an download option (or there are tools / websites that can help with the
process).

You'd need a download manager (I used to use 'Star Downloader' when I was on
dial up a few years back), and also a program for watching flash videos
locally eg 'VLC Media Player' or 'FLV Player', both of which are free.
