IE8 for 64 bit Vista

Warning - the IE8 for 64 bit Vista just downloaded and installed on my
computer. It has an issue with Windows Mail in that you can no longer open
file attachments in Windows Mail simply by clicking on the "paper clip".
You must first save the attachment to your computer and then open the file.
This is a pain in you know where. Supposedly MS is working on a solution.
I uninstalled IE8 and went back to IE7. Just a heads up.

There is no paper clip in vista mail. There is a paper clip in the
side bar indicating that there is an attachment. I just click the
attachment in the attachment bar and the document opens in what ever
application. word, paint, PowerPoint, fax viewer whatever. IE 8
does not change anything in vista mail.

There are large numbers of people who are reporting that it does.
Have a look in

To quote Craig Fergusen: It is on the internet, therefore it has to
be true.
