Windows Update Freeze: How to Troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance if anyone can offer any insights on this....it is really
Zonelabs' problem, but they seem to be unable to provide a solution.

Specifically, I am running Vista Home Premium on my wife's PC, a Dell
system, with Zone Alarm Internet Suite (latest version) running.

Every three to four weeks, Windows Update simply freezes...and the only
solution is to fully uninstall Zone Alarm. When I reinstall ZA, it will
again work well for a few weeks, then the same problem.

So, I wondered if there is any sort of manner by which to identify what
might be causing such a conflict, i.e. some sort of diagnostic to run to see
what is going wrong.

Again, I know this is Zone Alarm's issue, but I would love to find a simple
solution aside from the obvious of getting a different security package!

Thanks!

You might try the ZA forums

Thanks, Bob...I did indeed post the issue a couple of times...one other
person had the same problem with no solution, and the other post was
unanswered.
