| Re: Virus in vista To be shore that you are not reinfecting your self?,you have to make sure no other portable hard drive.Or mp3 or anyother storage device has an infected file.One done then move on-1 Start your PC in safe mode and do a scan.If the computer is infected will be able to remove it with no probs.Restart when done then all good :). Remember a virus can be removed easy when in safe mode.As the program (virus) can not run in this mode you can remove it easy.Compaired to normal mode all programs run even virus so detecting them is easy with your antivirus but removing some virus somtimes can not be done.As thay are runing and vista will not allow removal of runing programs.
