Windows 7 Learning Portal, Talking about MSFT Videos, and Win 7 Springboard

I understand that the only NNTP newsgroup is in Italiano, and that Technet
has some forums that discuss Windows 7 and will permit discussion of RC1
when MSFT (who sends emails to partners saying it's available for download
that links you to dead links that aren't LOL available for download until
about Tuesday) but many of you might enjoy this Windows 7 Learning Portal
that MSFT just put up given that MSFT is going to unleash Win 7 RC1 Build
7100 on Tuesday for the public as a CPP:

http://www.microsoft.com/learning/windows-7/default.mspx

as well as this video portal where excellent people like Mark Russonovitch
are discussing components of Win 7:

Talking About Microsoft
http://talkingaboutwindows.com/Default.aspx

and Technet Springboard for Windows 7
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

Yes it is, and he and his partner were one of the best hires for MSFT last
year. Sorry if I left it out. I was a little distracted when I posted.

You didn't leave his name out - you spelled it incorrectly! (-:

It is Mark Russinovich.

To be pedantic about it, both spellings are equally valid. The surname is a
phonetic transliteration of a Slavonic originating surname ie it is a
representation of the sounds of one language in the alphabet of another,
which isn't always a precise science. As with all transliterations there
can be variation eg you'll find all these via Google ....

Chekov
Tchekov
Anton Pavlovich Chekhov
Anton Pavlovitch Chekhov
Anton Pavlovich Tchekhov

which imho are all equally valid.

Continuing the pedantic theme, this time applying it to myself, (in case
any linguists pick me up on it), I suppose it's really a tranliteration of a
patronymic, rather than of a surname.

The valid spelling is the spelling used by the man himself:
