Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Yes, what happened to it? I have a huge collection of animated graphics
which I was able to view "in animation" in the Picture and Fax Viewer. I
could open a folder and go from one to another until I found the animation I
wanted. Now, I get no animation at all. They appear only as a still
clipart. How to I get the ability to view my animations? The new picture
gallery is of almost no value to me at all. Every editing program you get
has a gallery of some sort. I already have my pictures in the order in
which I want them and I don't need another program to rearrange them for me.
Not a happy camper!
