access Vista from XP through Remote Desktop and windows explorer

Hi,

I just recently added a Vista machine to my two old XP machines. I can use
Remote Desktop and window explorer to access the two XP's from Vista, but
not vice verse. Is it possible to make the Vista accessible from the two
XP's machines? Thanks for any answer.

JD

AFAIK not natively. You'd need to use third-party software like UltraVNC.

Actually, you can as long as it's not Vista Home (Premium or Basic). It's
Remote Assistance that doesn't allow XP->Vista in any fashion.

JD, in Vista's Remote Desktop properties, you need to enable the option to
connect from any version of windows. This can only be accomplished if you
are using Vista Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise. Otherwise, as Malke has
indicated, you would need a third party tool.
