As for Jerky Jerkolope, so what if it boots in 10 seconds? What do you do with it then? Stare at the screen trying to make it function? The only question new Linux users need an answer to is how quickly can Linux be removed because that is what happens to most Linux installs. |

That is why it is imperative for Linux to have an efficient removal tool. The LRT. Linux Removal Tool. This way even though the poor mark has wasted days trying to get Linux to work, he can at least purge his system of Linux in an efficient and orderly manner. |

This way even though the poor mark has wasted days trying to get Linux to work, he can at least purge his system of Linux in an efficient and orderly manner. A. GParted, cfdisk, mkfs, parted, sfdisk? (No, these do not involve the delete button, you Gate-loving self-defeated 13-year-old fail-bound Billionaire-funders) I am using Jaunty Jackalope right now. It sucks arse. Boot time is almost eternal. I think this is something I could fix seeing as everyone else is experiencing win with boot times. Also, my 3G modem doesn't work with 9.04 but in 8.10 it worked. Every other 3G modem works but Optus 3G is not working. Optus 3G worked in 8.10 if I bashed out some magic in the terminal, but you guys don't need to know about that stuff. Anyway, I'd rather perform fellatio on a hobo than use Vista. -- faildozer Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
