| "Do not show this window again" option ineffective I made a clean install of Vista Ultimate (also an upgrade from Vista Home Premium). I had some difficulties with missing drivers but sorted those out. A couple of Intel drivers display popup windows at start up, each with a check box for "Don't show this window again" or words to that effect. Startup stops until I click "Run" for both. I check the "Don't show me" boxes for these two apps but this is ineffective and the two windows keep reappearing at startup. Is this a Vista problem or do I need to consult with Intel on some registry hack? Any ideas you might be able to provide would be appreciated. Thank you. |

| RE: "Do not show this window again" option ineffective Dont bother about those two startups they are just hkcmd and igfxtray i guess. if so then you can either disable it from msconfig. Start and type msconfig and hit enter. click continue and goto startup tab and disable both startups. Another thing is you can check windows update for any hardware driver update if available. That will be best. | RE: "Do not show this window again" option ineffective Thank you very much, Vanshaj. Yes those are the two files I believe. I'll try both your suggestions.
