| RE: A detailed vista review and analysis Wow, Perhaps its me but I didn't feel all the "pain" while getting to know VISTA. Let me state that I spend lots of time installing different Distros (linux,BSD) so my mindset may be different. I expect a learning curve. Heck I enjoy it. And found getting to know M$ Vista a fun challenge. I do however agree with most of the reviewers points. So much so that I just installed the Vista Theme for XP..Shallow ? Oh well. I do like the look on my secure, safe, and comfortable OS. Vista is fun to play with but as it stands right now, playing is the only thing to do with it. I enjoyed reading the review that the original post linked to. Your "no one" clearly doesn't include me. |

| Re: A detailed vista review and analysis just curious... if you had no problems, why is playing the only thing its good for? ive been running rtm in production for a while now with zero issues, and the machine is running and benchmarking faster and better as a whole. | Re: A detailed vista review and analysis Troy McClure wrote: > where the hell is .CX anyway? do people that live here even have > indoor plumbing?? Does it matter what domain name the server uses? I thought the article raised some interesting points, many of which are ones I agree with and planned to comment on in my own reviews. Certainly, the concerns the review raises cannot simply be dismissed by a snide comment about where the server might be based and the homes of the people who live there. |

| Re: A detailed vista review and analysis no, just trying to inject some humor into the latest bit of your negativity. you spend your day finding negative articles and posts, then come here to share them. why is that? clearly no one wants to see what you post, so why bother? heres some homework for you... give me a writeup on your favorite features or enhancements in vista, and back them up with articles from people that agree with you. I guess if MS read it they will just try and spin their way out instead of taking note of it. -- Jeff Gaines |

| Re: A detailed vista review and analysis Michael, Please do not assign faults toward Vista simply the results for your lack of knowledge and full comprehension of Vista. Who is to blame for your lack of knowledge regarding Vista? only you and not one other individual. Who forces you for using the most state of the art Operating System our World has ever known and experienced; know as Windows Vista? Since you do not respect Vista, have you considered removing Vista from you HDD? When properly installed, the functionality, user friendliness, and inherent Security that Vista provides exceeds beyond incredible !!! -- Firewall "michail iakovou yos" wrote: > I like the ability to see thumbnails on the desktop. that's the only feature > I like. > > its not my fault vista stinks... if it was good I would be the first to > praise it. > > > > "Troy McClure" <nun@4u.com> wrote in message > news:%23p$Cl5ZNHHA.5000@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > > no, just trying to inject some humor into the latest bit of your > > negativity. you spend your day finding negative articles and posts, then > > come here to share them. why is that? clearly no one wants to see what you > > post, so why bother? heres some homework for you... give me a writeup on > > your favorite features or enhancements in vista, and back them up with > > articles from people that agree with you. > > > > > > "michail iakovou yos" <1@1.1> wrote in message > > news:uIOpyxZNHHA.3952@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > >> He is not in some third world country I can assure you.. > >> but why are you saying that?
