| RE: Domain Profile defaults to Temporary instead of Local - Please H Hi, I was getting this problem and I was at the end of my tether. Some users could log onto Vista fine and have their profiles remembered, some were always temporary and all settings/prefs were dumped upon logging out. I had a look in Active Directory and the users that were forced to use temporary accounts were all members of the Domain Guest group. I removed them from the Domain Guest group and all is now well. Hope this helps. | RE: Domain Profile defaults to Temporary instead of Local - Plea I've got the same problem now but I am not part of the domain guests group. I've added another user and she's fine on my machine as well as the domain admin account. Just everytime I log in I get the temp profile popup and no profile created in users "Paul Fisher" wrote: [color=blue] > Hi, > > I was getting this problem and I was at the end of my tether.
