From what I hear, Alias has been scamming people for years. That is why he
had to leave the USA to move to Spain. The authorities have been looking
for him.

That's impossible. With the exception of a crime that would lead to the
barbaric practice of the death penalty, Spain has an extradition treaty
with the USA. In order for me to be here legally, I have to get a green
card and register where I live with the authorities. I also have to have
a valid passport. When you get a passport, clueless one, they do an FBI
and IRS check on you and I came up as clean as a saint.
