Was it pre-installed by the computer manufacture? |

There seems to be something wrong with the restore/reinstall if nothing is showing in Programs and Features - Windows Components. You should be able to contact the manufacturer's tech support and get help from them concerning the issue, because really, there is nothing anyone here can do about this issue you're having to help you. |

(Dell Latitude D630). I'm not sure if problem started just after reinstall or later during using machine, but I'm pretty sure that there is no point to contact Dell, because busted is system not hardware. For now doesn't care me this feature, but I need enable .NET 3, which should be possible from command line. I ask my question on MS moderated news group, and maybe any MS engineer will be abel to help me. PS Sorry that I've clicked that your previous post was helpful, I did it accidentally. |

Indeed I've installed Vista from Dell DVD and haven't install any of Dell's junk, so now I know that I should contact Dell's support. Thanks. |
