| Fonts I wonder if someone could help please, I am trying to find the font folder, so that I can copy a font onto a disk to put onto my laptop. In other versions of Windows its C:\windows\fonts, which it appears to be in Vista, but once in C:\Windows I cannot find the fonts folder. If I go through the control panel to the fonts folder it will not let me copy the front from there. It will let me right click the font to copy, but not let me paste onto a memory stick. I would be grateful if anyone knows how please. I have already got into Folder options and made sure that Hidden files are visible. Margaret |

| Re: Fonts Hi, Just type C:\Windows\Fonts into the address bar of Windows Explorer. Won't matter what your folder options are set to. Also, in Folder Options, you must not only enable to line to show hidden files, you must also uncheck the line to hide protected operating system files in order to see it the way you mentioned. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Margaret Upton" <Margaretupton@btinternet.com> wrote in message news:D4CBC9F9-5B07-4708-BB9F-CADBC0C07BE4@microsoft.com... >I wonder if someone could help please, I am trying to find the font folder, >so that I can copy a font onto a disk to put onto my laptop. When finished delete it. -- John the West Ham fan housetrained********.com <>< |
