See attached jpg file. I get this weird icon that pops up and moves through
the other icons on the desktop. It only happens sometimes after first
booting up. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Have you installed new software recently? Have you scanned for a virus, etc?

Have installed new software, but this problem came out well before that. I
regularly at least on a weekly basis virus scan the whole machine with
Mcafee virus scanner. Then also have Windows Defender do A complete scan
also.

The icon doesn't look familiar, but when it pops up run Task Manager to see
what programs/processes are running in the background.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
