| Re: Windows explorer stop responding I had the same problem for months. Just often enough to be a pain. I have fixed it and I'd guess you could do the same. I installed Safari and after about a week of getting to know it, I like it better and it is noticeably faster. Having said that, it is possible that if I had been able to find the cause of the stop responding issues, that may have resulted in a faster response by Window's Explorer. | Re: Windows explorer stop responding I am not awre of fault data, all I do is that I work normlly and when I try to switch between windows, the pointer changes into a turning sand clock and the screen comes to a hault, then the error message pops up when i try to re click again. The history in the Problem Reports and Solution shows that there is no solution to problems caused by IE and direct me to the update, the update says that my computer is up to date !!
