Earthlink problem

Hi,

I can't get Earthlink to work under VISTA. Anybody have any ideas?

And be prepared to tell them a whole lot more than you told here.

Two points:

1. When you ask for help, either here or anywhere else, please
describe your problem accurately. Just saying "I can't get X to work"
is very close to meaningless, because it lacks all detail. The result
is that nobody can really help you with so little information.

You need to state what that means by describing what you've done, what
software you're using, and exactly what happens when you try to do it.
Moreover, if you get any error messages, you need to quote them
verbatim.

2. Almost certainly this is not a Windows issue, but one caused by
your not properly configuring your software to work with Earthlink.
Please contact Earthlink, and get them to tell you what to do.

Hi,

yes, I know it was a terrible question. Problem is that is the description
I got from the user and I hoped it was a well know issue so you could easily
guess what was wrong.
