Have you checked that you have the latest Drivers for the Video Card?

Yeah, it is either a video card driver issue, or a video codec issue. That
hardware should have no problem playing videos. I can watch full screen
AVIs with Media Player 11 in Vista Premium 32 on a ThinkPad T41 (Pentium M
1.6 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, Radeon Mobility 9000 32 MEG video)!
