Thanks Mike, that works.

I'd like to know *why* my Vista installation ignores my attempts to change
the UAC settings from the Control Panel (when I've enabled UAC using
TweakUAC the checkbox still isn't ticked on the ControlPanel->User
Accounts->Turn User Account Control On or Off page). Are there some policy
settings somewhere or something like that?
