Access Database on Vista Locking out everyone

I have a Network of PCs. 1st Vista PC with target Access Database, 2nd PC with Vista, 3rd PC with Windows 2000.

Problems are opening (not exclusive) database across Network.

Open target Database with 3rd PC locks out 2nd PC. Database opens OK on 1st PC. Open target Database with 2nd PC, 3rd PC opens OK, 1st PC opens OK.

If I put the Target Database on 2nd PC same happens.

If I put Target Database on 3rd PC same happens.

This does appear somehow to be a Vista issue but I have no idea what..

Anyone have any ideas ???

What version of Access?

If you don't get the answer here, you might try an Access group, like:

microsoft.public..access
