| System Recovery will not show up Hello, I'm using Windows Vista and want to start the System Recovery but nothing will happen. When I click to start again a messenge windows appears, telling me that the application is already running and that the new instance will now be closed. But actually, no visible System Recovery Window pops up! This will also happen when I try to start the SR in Vista's Installation Repair Mode (boot from CD). Anyone knows how to fix this issue? |

Be patient. System Restore needs quite some time to gather the required information before it pops up the dialogue where you make your choices. The reason you are getting the "two instances" message, is because SR is allready performing it's searches in the background. Charlie42 |

| Re: System Recovery will not show up Thank you very much... It almost took 8 minutes until it showed up! I guess I'm too impatient ;) "Charlie42" wrote: > "need.more.brain" <need.more.brain@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > > > Hello, I'm using Windows Vista and want to start the System > > Recovery but nothing will happen.
