how to change the file binding from

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.iso\UserChoice]
"Progid"="NeroBurningRom.Files8.iso"

to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.img\UserChoice]
"Progid"="NeroBurningRom.Files8.img"

my problom here is that i dont have promission to change the "
Applications\nero.exe" in img to "NeroBurningRom.Files8.img"

i have change everything els in my quest for getting vcl as an options to
open img files as i can with iso files, only need this line

Right-click the file and either open or open with will let you chose the
application to associate with the file type.

Sorry, given language difficulty I only half-understood your post.

You can delete the userchoice key. I have no such key in my registry for img
and I do have nero 8 installed. If you are unable to delete it due to
permission, I have no answer for you.
