Windows sidebar will not stay on desktop

I like the sidebar in Vista. I put a clock in and calendar and a few other
gadgets but it won't stay. Everytime I boot up it is gone. I can see no
setting as to make it stay. Any answer for this??
Thanks, Catt

Start Sidebar, right-click on the sidebar, select Properties and put a tick in the box about starting with Windows.
