| Every email downloads...again I have just had Windows Mail for about a month. I have hughes net for my internet connection so I have been using their email service because everytime I open my Windows Mail it starts downloading every email that has ever been sent to me. I have some emails that have been sent to my computer ten or twelve times. I tried letting it download all the emails and be done with it but it never does. It stops in the middle somewhere. I guess it won't hold 12k emails. It starts when direcway was switched to hughes net. I cannot send emails and I can't read any new ones. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Should I call up Microsoft and sit on hold forever?? Thanks. -- There are no stupid questions! |

Pick your main email address and choose Properties Go to Advanced At the bottom, is " leave a copy of message on server" ticked? If so, untick it. Click OK. Do that for every email account you have. |

If you can access your mail through the web go there and delete all of them If you cannot then contact your provider and ask then to clear your mail box You have a stuck or a bad compiled email stuck in the providers box -- ZÿRiX (¯`'..(<>..<>)..'´¯) |
