Windows Live Messenger Not Working!

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32 on my HP laptop. WLM 8.5 used to work just
fine but for some reason now it wont. If I try to open then it loads the
msnmsgr.exe in task manager but nothing ever shows up on screen to let me log
in.. I cleanup my HDD using cleanmgr & clear my browser cache & cookie files.
I tried to reinstall WLM too. But nothing changed.

Uninstall windows Live Messenger
Start>Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program

Then download WLM from the link below at MS web page!
