clean up tool

When I try to clean the c drive, there is a file called temporary files that
will not delete. It is different from the temporary internet files. How do I
delete this?

Re: clean up tool

Are you sure it is not a folder. The temporary folder that is vital for the
proper function of your system as many applications use it?

Windows created temp files may still be in use. The system prevents deletion
if this is the case..

It does not delete files that are not older than x days. I forget the exact
time, but this is the reason why some are left behind.

You can type %temp% into an address bar to go there yourself and manually
delete file. You will not be able to delete files that are still in use.

You can use the attached .vbs script to delete all of the files that are not
in use as well. I have it saved in a folder I keep all extra command line
commands, and that is included in the PATH.
