| where is my file? - Vista Okay, it was a dumb oversight, but I opened a document from Outlook in Word 2007, made modifications, hit save and closed the document. Can someone tell me exactly how to find this saved file? In XP, it would be with the temp files. I searched what I thought were temp files on Vista, but it isn't in the list. The computer has not been turned off, so this file has to be hiding somewhere, but where? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

| Re: where is my file? - Vista Open the document again from Outlook, click Save As..., and look at where it wants to save. It's way down under Document and Settings somewhere.
