| Extra "Programs" subfolder in start menu I am using vista business. In my start menu, I have the normal "Programs" at the bottom of the start menu. When I click this "Program" menu, a list of programs that I installed are shown. However, within this list of programs, I have an entry call "Programs" (I call this as Programs2 from now to to avoid confusion). Program2 contain exactly the same list of software that I installed as in Program1. How can I get rid of this program2 from the Program1 menu? Thanks in advance. Man |

| Re: Extra "Programs" subfolder in start menu Hi Lamb Chop, Right click the start orb, choose 'explore all users'. Go to this folder by double clicking the "programs" folder in the right pane: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs You should see another "programs" (ie: programs2) folder here that you can delete. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Lamb Chop" <NoSpam@Nospam.com> wrote in message news:B0CBA9CF-1D21-4BFC-A3BC-5891BD9B9666@microsoft.com... >I am using vista business. > > In my start menu, I have the normal "Programs" at the bottom of the start > menu.
