I say this because if you succeed and he / she doesn't spot your activities he / she will be annoyed, if you are spotted and have not asked he / she will be annoyed. See where this is going? If you have a network in the office then it "Should" be protected from outside access. If your admin says "No" you are stuck with that situation, however there is nothing to stop you asking if you can show a sensible reason to do and who knows, in setting it up for you he / she may discover some security hole that has been missed. |
