Shell folders are displayed with the standard folder icon in Windows Vista:

Can you list out the steps you're using to launch search? Is this happening
when you use F3 from the desktop?

whenever I click on the search's on the left side like in the picture it hapens
f3 works but the others don't search everywhere works and indexed locations
works but all others get that message

Right-click on the Desktop (or an empty area on a folder) and click New,
Folder.
