No, there's no check box.

Did you have 4 gigs before or did you add it after the RAID? The problem is
most likely in your BIOS with some addressing issues. I've got an Acer
laptop that, despite having 4 gigs of ram in it, I cannot get the maximum
amount of memory becuase of the PCI addressing.
