Making recovery discs

This laptop did not come with any, the instructions suggested making a set.
I went through it until is said to insert the first blank recordable DVD. It
keeps saying the disc is not blank. They are DVD+RW discs. I had the
computer format them but it still says they are not blank. Is there a
certain kind of recordable DVD you need to use for this?

Re: Making recovery discs

You need to use non-DVD+RW discs (DVD+Rs).

RE: Making recovery discs

Buy Acronis or equivalent back-up software. It will save you time and
frustration in the long run.

Ok simple enough. I'll pick up some at the store. Thanks
