| Re: Screen goes black when Vista 32bit loads.... Had the same problem connecting the DATA (RGB cable) of monitor while windows was coming up exactly after the vista logo (or globe or whatever it is) and before the logon screen (how could i know that it was at that stage while connecting RGB cable? good questions that i will answer it in the end; anyway) Nothing could help ; it was long ago and i dont remmber the exact solution that helped but its was surely one these 1- going to safe mode change the resolution of screen to the lowest possible; restart in the normal mode got my screen back then I could set the resolution to what i wanted ( probably this was how i got rid of black screen) 2- (very unlikely that i had done this but) uninstalling and reinstalling video card driver. yu can imagine how hard it is to login and change resoltion or reinstalling driver (in blind black screen) how could i know that it was at that stage while connecting RGB cable? by sound card playing that sound while showing the GLOBE and my HDD activity that i am familiar with :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "dlesko" <guest@unknown-email.com> Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.vista.general Sent: Wednesday, July 09, 2008 2:55 AM Subject: Screen goes black when Vista 32bit loads....
