KB948109 Update Error Code 735D

The update in the subject line has failed to install for me . . . .

I found a similar thread but with a different error message in the XP
section of this forum, and found a link to the individual moduels:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

I downloaded, and ran (as administrator) the update which seemed to
install properly, after which I re-booted.....

My problem is that the original entry in my Windows Update still
exists, and even on refreshing by "checking for updates" the system
doesn't recognize that the update has already successfully run, and so
wants me to install again the version that failed.

Any thought ? Thanks

Steve K.

Re: KB948109 Update Error Code 735D

Error code 735D means:
Service '[2]' could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient
privileges to stop system services. The error code is ([3] [4])

If you view the summary log at %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup
Bootstrap\Log\Hotfix, you should be able to determine exactly which service
is failing to stop.

Thanks,
Peter Saddow [Microsoft]
