Something's not right!

When I right-click the desktop and go to properties nothing happens. It shows
up for a second then disappears. I cannot get to Desktop Properties! Same
thing happens with Default Programs, Windows Calendar, Welcome Center and the
Computer properties. Or possibly more. I can't get it to work! What is going
on? this is a new laptop and everything.

It sounds like Vista is not currently activated.

Do you know what System Restore is?

Find it (use Help and Support) and restore to a point that precedes
the start of the problem.

Be sure to tick the box at the bottom that allows you to see all
restore points older than 5 days if you need them.
