I hope this is more clearer!!!![/color] Nonny gave you a link to a utility which may do what you want. I'm going to look into the Crystal Ball(tm) and guess that what you *really* want to do is edit a .pdf file and you don't want to buy Acrobat Standard. Therefore you think if you can open this file in Word or the like, you'll be able to do that. I don't know if the utility will work for you - it's certainly worth a try - but you might want to try the free PDF Creator (Google for it) if you are really looking for an application that will let you create/edit .pdf files and don't want to spend $300. So now you have a couple of avenues to try and have also learned why giving lots of information in your first post is the way to go instead of making people who want to help you guess. It turned out to be an OEM (not for resale) version, but it activated and works like a charm. | Re: Adobe documents If you have Word/Office, there is an Add-on to change PDF files into Word DOC(X) files from Nuance/ScanSoft. It's call Scan Soft PDF Converter to Microsoft Word. It looks like it was bought out by this company. Mine came with Omni Page 14. My experience, however, is that how well this works depends greatly upon the complexity of the document's formatting. I suspect that the same is likely true of the Word add-on you mention.
