I fail to see your reasoning.

Why not use 64-bit for gaming, Internet access, iTunes, and everything
else??

Get Avast Home which supports 64-bit and is free.

I agree with spirit. Use a free AV like Avast or AVG. I use both on some
of my Vista x64 systems.
