| How do I Select the Pictures I Want to Transfer from My Camera? I have a Kodak CX7330. On my XP machine, I am able to select only those pictures that I want to transfer, I cannot find such an option on the Vista system. Any ideas? |

Any ideas? How did you do it in XP? more detail on the actions you took on XP and what you are doing on Vista would help... I select only the pics I want in my Vista... -- ZÿRiX (¯`'..(<>..<>)..'´¯) alt.alien.zyrix |

Unless you are willing to buy the OP a card reader I would suggest you keep your stupid ideas to yourself! Perhaps you are related to Frank, this newsgroups MORON? I say lets call Vista a piece of CRAP instead! Vista is to blame... so lets make sure it gets all the bad credit for the stupidity it has. |

| RE: How do I Select the Pictures I Want to Transfer from My Camera? Your question isn't entirely clear... but I have no problem transferring photos from my digital cameras to Vista. Vista usually does three things when you connect a digital camera via the computer's USB port: 1) Autoplay menu pops-up, allowing you to choose the camera as an external folder or choose software to transfer photos 2) system tray displays a balloon asking you if you need to load software to perform photo transfer 3) Computer displays the camera as an external drive (removable disc). I use either the autoplay pop-up menu or go to Computer and open the camera. I transfer and copy files to and from the camera the same way I would with an external HD or memory stick. Also, I have no problems using card readers. -- oscar :) ....Right click is your best friend...
