cookie file isn't any longer after recent updates

I give up. After installing the latest updates one from HP and 2 from
windows, both security and Vista update my cookie file no longer registers
any. Mostly not a problem unless I am trying to get back to my ISP after
researching something in the web, then I get a cannot display message and
have to sign out and then back in again. What gives here? Any help besides
restoring to a time when these updates didn't exist? I may shoot this thing
yet.

IE internet option cookie files, poof gone. It is no longer holding them in
the file folder. Just did a sys restore back to the CXT modem driver update
I don't think it helped though.

Re: cookie file isn't any longer after recent updates

Sorry man... Sorry that you lost your cookies!!!
Did you look for em in the cupboard???

But seriously if I drill down for em I cannot find em but if I right click
on IE 7 and go to internet
properties, then under the heading "browser settings" click settings then
click view files There they are
in temporary internet files... it's like the ghost has em when I am hunting
for em... BTW the path is as follows
You logon name as I will just use test
test\local\Microsoft\windows\temporary internet files

You did not say what browser you are using. I would guess IE, if so
try another browser to see if the same problem exists. If not then
change to that one.
