Can't reinstall VIsta

Hi all...

I am unable to reinstall Vista on my machine, The error I get is "Windows
is unable to Find a System Volume that meets its criteria for installation."
This is a drive that I had the Vista x64 installed on previously, tried to
do repair that failed, thus, opted to de a reinstall. So...what does this
mean? I have not encountered this error before, and have done a delete and
reformat of the drive, and yet still get the same error. I have tried to do
install to another drive of the same type and get the same error.

Here are my system specs:
Processor
2.00 gigahertz AMD 64 Opteron's (2 installed)
Main Circuit Board
Tyan Tiger K8WE
Memory Modules
2 GB RAM

The drives are SATA 80 GB, so I think they should be more than sufficient
for a Vista install. What can I do at this point to get Vista reinstalled?
I really need to get this machine up and running.

Jan :)
