| speech recognition Hi Is it just me/my system or do other people find the Vista speech recognition stuff to be useless? I have been through the whole of the training sessions, but still find that it is hopelessly inaccurate. And yes I do have a decent quality microphone. Would be interested to hear if anyone has it working proficiently. Thanks |

I found it to work better than the XP tablet voice recognition, and I like the added functionality. I don't like Vista on the whole, but I find one redeeming feature it has is the improved voice recognition. -- "Fair use is not merely a nice concept--it is a federal law based on free speech rights under the First Amendment and is a cornerstone of the creativity and innovation that is a hallmark of this country. I just didn't to spend loads of time and then find out no-one rates it. Thanks for the reply |
