While trying to save a notepad document, I somehow maximized the Save As
window and there is no restore button. When I cursor over the edge of
the window the resize arrow appears but I cannot grab the edge to move
it.

Double-click your mouse on the title bar of that window which will set it
back to the previous size it was set at.

Just right click on the title bar and select 'restore'.

Thx, I knew there had to be a way but it wasn't obvious.
