| minimized tabs on taskbar wrong side? So I turn on my computer today, and all of a sudden the minimized tabs for the programs I'm using are on the wrong side of the taskbar. They're on the right side, near the clock, rather than the left side by the start menu. They are also so small that I cannot read them, and if I have more than two they don't show up. I know it's a minor problem, but it's really annoying to me, and I can't figure out how to make them go to the way they were before. Can someone tell me how? Thanks so much for any help! |

| Re: minimized tabs on taskbar wrong side? BananaPancake, Perhaps something here is applicable: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/83815-desktop-icons.html RtClk on desktop » Personalize » Display Settings » move Resolution slider to desired resolution » OK In the Task Pane of the Personalization window, choose Adjust Font Size (DPI) and choose the desired DPI. OK button. All of my desktop icons are too big / too small. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ While at the Desktop: Hold down the Ctrl key. Scroll using the scroll wheel on your mouse. karl "BananaPancake" <BananaPancake@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:11DEA7DA-0BEB-4B49-8303-0762D64A4A07@microsoft.com... | Re: minimized tabs on taskbar wrong side? Right click on the taskbar and unlock it. You may see a series of vertical dots that indicate another tool bar is using the left side of your task bar. (typically the Quick launch uses this area). You can either reduce the size of the offending tool bar or remove it totally. Remember to relock your taskbar when you have the problem solved. | Re: minimized tabs on taskbar wrong side? Hey thank you all so much! My problem is now fixed! Once I unlocked it these buttons appeared and I was able to just click and drag them back into the right spot. Thank you all so much :] "Richard in AZ" wrote: > Right click on the taskbar and unlock it.
