You are one yourself. So who are you to be passing judgment on > anyone English crap? Hmm... what's in a name? In this case another idiot that's as stupid as Frank and thinks he has some God given right to bitch and moan as he wishes but gets bent out of shape if he sees somebody else doing what he's doing. I mean come on, how dense are these buffoons that post here? Well lets review and see how dense the clown "What's in a Name" actually is. It was pointed out that a certain stuffed-shirt wants to be addressed as mister. That would be the always self- important and very pompous windbag, the want to be seen as lordly Mr. Arnold who fancies himself an authority on everything. The very same jerk that has previously had some foolish need to announce to the world that he put certain posters he didn't like in his kill file in some self--absorbed, grandious florish of self appreciation of his own imagined magnificence and glory needing to make that fact known, rather than simply doing it. Well folks, that's called ego stroking in the extreme. A shameless stunt to elevate one's self to glory, and likely expecting praise to be heaped on himself for the stellar performace in self-indulgence. The poster Arnold is quite accomplished in that art as are other idiots that have engaged in similar self- praise for their pompous conduct in this newsgroup. So lets put two and two together. We have a poster who is obviously full of himself, Mr. Arnold, and another twit What's in a Name that came running to his defense who previously has bitched and moaned about improper postings of others only to make several himself. Oh I see now. I understand perfectly. There is a small clique of obvious losers headed up by the king of fools, Frank, that have set themselves up to scold and judge the rest of us. They will rant and rave as much as they like, shamelessly spread lies, insult as much as possible, scream bloody murder about whatever is upsetting them and demand whoever just pissed them off immediately cease and desist, but they reserve the right to scream and bitch as much as they want because in their diluted little fantasy world they are the special breed of imbecile that has concluded their Golden Rule will be do as I say, not as I do. Thus we have Bozos like Frank, and What's in a Name doing the very things they shake their finger at and find fault with in others, yet not only do they always excuse themselves from the same poor conduct they find fault with in others and endlessly scream about, but actually are stupid enough to think they have some right to decide they can engage in the same kind of conduct, just because they are them. Like I said, I do understand. Human nature proves time and again the absolute hypocrisy of certain posters having some need to make asses of themselves in public for our amusement. Naturally the majority will laugh their asses off over how these morons act, yet you can rest assured they never make the connection themselves how idiotic they come across as and blissfully go on their merry way thinking what they just said was not only correct but appreciated by the majority. Sure, go right on thinking that, I know you will, because if I do anything well it is expose the jackasses that make fools of themselves daily. |

| Re: One Year of Using Vista -- It Does Nothing Better than XP For Me I was the original poster in this thread. I didn't intend to start a religious war, but . . . I used to LOVE Microsft products. I think Microsoft has lost their fire. They are so big and they have so much market share, it will take a while to catch up to them. In my opinion Vista and Office 2007 are flakey. I could give a long list, but it's already been done. Too bad . . . the evolutionary growth of Office from 1990 to 2003 was incredible. Now (2007 version) it is a piece of crap, and I am sorry. I wonder if Bill Gates even uses Office 2007 and understands how BAD it is. Sorry, to all you Microsft True Believers, I have offended, but the message from the rest of us, who just want our productivity back, has to get out. O yeah. Hey, just out of curiousity, any opinions on the California gay marriage decision? |

People who like Vista tend to be non-technical users. Because all they do is NG, mail and light surfing. They don't do thinks like copy 4GB files from one system to another or disk to disk. They are limited in how they use Vista. Or it they run games, XP is more compatible. Or if they program, why wait for Vista. Even Microsoft has a early replacement Win7 for Vista. Vista sucks compared to XP. Vista is not for everyone. |

It isn't even in beta yet so don't expect it for at least another 18 months.. Both Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer have admitted to Vista's numerous shortcoming. Just ignore the resident troll and total idiot Frank and his two pathetic buddies that cling to his every word.. He's a hot head, a butt kisser, apologist and a **** fool who is stupid enought to think his job 24/7 is to sing praises of Vista knowing full well he is lying his ass off. Frank lies his ass off about everything and tries to pick fights with everybody. Most think he is iliterally insane. He has a potty mouth and is also obsessed with sheep and pigs. Sounds nuts to me. Don't take my word for it, just read the crap he posts and decide for yourself if he is a nut case or not. 99.99% of the visitors to this newsgroup consider Frank a **** fool and a proven liar. |

Truth is you're a failed IT and an incompetent loser. OTH, I've got multiple installs of Vista Ultimate x32 & x64 installed, configured and running properly on a variety of different hardware. Like other zealots, the "true believers" read that "fanboys", Microsoft apologists and especially Frank's little ragtag clique of losers are as rigid and unyielding in their thinking as today's Muslim crazies that got it in their heads they have a right to attack and kill non true believers. Because zealots are always deficient and totally lacking flexibility being stiff and unyielding in their position. To them it is always black and white. You either love Vista like they do being blind to it's many faults or you are quickly labeled stupid, newbie, you can't get Vista to work because you're dumb, you didn't do "research", all software has bugs, you need to "learn" how to use Vista and all the rest of the lame ill thought out excuses they repeat over and over. The FACT is Vista is just another edition of Windows. Something that has been broken and unfixed for over two decades. Normal people understand that. Zealots don't care. That is why any discussion of Vista's problems are attacked. They are defending the holy grail, how dare anybody point out that Windows actually has warts? But wait... that is what newsgroups like this are for! It doesn't matter to zealots. It is almost impossible to find any poster that sincerely is looking for help with some Vista problem that one or more zealots don't attack him and try to throw them under the bus using some of the lame lines mentioned earlier or similar. Microsoft must share the blame for the bad karma and black cloud that hangs over this newsgroup. They routinely remove negative comments critical of Vista from their news server while allowing bitter and often vulgar comments of zealots to remain. This unecessary and half- ass filtering is some feeble attempt to whitewash this newsgroup and cleanse it of anything regardless if factual or not that could be seen negative about Vista. Such is the sad state of this cesspool. A support group? You got to be kidding. The zealots long ago have ruined that possibility. |
